Personal Information
We collect and process both information that you voluntarily communicate to us when setting up an account to use the Site (such as your email, password, or your list of News Buddies) and data related to your traffic (such as your IP address) and enabled cookies. You do not need to set up an account and provide us with personally identifiable information to use the Site, but some personal information is necessary to access certain features. We will never collect or process personal information relating to, directly or indirectly, your race or religion, political or philosophical views, or your sexual orientation. We may collect data relating to your "News Buddies", for instance the stories you have shared or received from them.

Traffic data is generated when your computer connects to the Internet and to the Site. This is not sufficient to identify you. We may collect the following information: origin of the connection (ISP), IP address, type and version of your Internet browser, length of connection, pages viewed / page impressions etc. This data may be used for statistical purposes to analyse the traffic (i.e. most and least-viewed and most and least-created pages and categories, favourite publishers, activity per day and hour) and to improve our Site by reflecting usership and demand.

Termination of account
At any time you may cancel your account and all associated personal information will be deleted. Please note that in this event all your preferences will be lost.
Communication from Fingertips
We may send emails to your designated address with regards to any technical or administrative purposes or to inform you of modifications to the Site. We will not send you commercial offers unrelated to Fingertips. Notifications of the above may or may not also appear on the Site itself from time to time but we do not undertake to always communicate with you via email to inform you of said modifications.
Access, Change and Deletion of Your Personal Information
You have the right to access, modify and request the deletion of the personal information collected or processed by Fingertips or to object to the processing of said personal information. You may modify your password by doing so in your personal settings area. You may also modify your name, though this will then be what appears through communication with your News Buddies.
